BACK ON TRACK

HI EVERYONE

Sorry for not having kept things up on the site lately but things have been a little crazy. I took a long needed R&R trip to Vancouver, London and Italy in May and June and have returned full of vim and vigour and lots of new theatrical ideas. But then I was way-laid wtih an emergency trip to Halifax to the old Victoria General - but ALLS WELL THAT ENDS WELL. Back on the mend and now back to organizing the latest happenings at THE LOFT THEATRE at White Hills Resort.

We don`t have a regular summer season this year (because of funding issues) but we are looking at filling our roster with a few items in the month of August - called WEEKSENDS AT THE LOFT. This summer we are premiering our first show with the non-professional wing of New Curtain with the talents of some of our recent local students of our acting studio in James McLure`s LAUNDRY & BOURBON. This show will open at the ELIZABETH SWAN PARK on Tilley`s Road, Clarenville " 7:30 PM on August 21st (free show) and will continue at THE LOFT THEATRE for 22-24 of August as a fundraiser for the company.
There will also be a lovely evening of Theatre and Sweets when we will present, for one night only, LOVE LETTERS by A.R. Gurney. Everyone loves a bit of chocolate and a good love story so we will be pairing this show with an intermission of sweet delectables like cheese cakes, pies and such. The date for this will be announced later to check back for updates.
We will also be remounting FOLEY from our 2006 Season which has traveled from St John`s to Gros Morne. This show has been reviewed by Gordon Jones of The Telegram as ``a magnificient perfiormance that should not be missed.`` Stay tuned for confirmed dates

Also we will be openign our doors to people from time to time that will be passing through our town so keep your eyes glues to theis page for updates. Also keep an eye open for our season launch which will be coming up soon.

Check back regularly for updates and see you at The Loft!
